Bengaluru: In a recent move, Naved Iqbal has been appointed the CEO of Wipro Water. Wipro Water provides comprehensive solutions for water and wastewater treatment ranging from raw water treatment to wastewater recycling and reuse including Zero Liquid Discharge. Naved has been driving the process re-engineering, application engineering and business operations for over 25 years at top engineering organizations including Rockwell Automation, GE and Alstom among others.
“Naved’s strategic acumen and leadership along with his engineering proficiency will lead Wipro Water to new heights,” hoped the company in its official statement. It also expects Naved to mentor large, cross-functional and global teams for Wipro Water as the company charts new territories and aligns its focus towards defining innovative solutions, creating market niches and effective operational strategy.Today Wipro Water has treated 40+ mn m3 water and executed 350+ projects for 500+ global customers across 25+ industry segments.
Naved will replace TM Nagarajan who is due to retire on June 30th, 2024. Both Naved and Nagarajan would closely work over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition for Wipro Water.
