Karnataka State Government orders transfer of 21 IAS officers

Bengaluru: In a significant administrative reshuffle, Karnataka’s state government has ordered the transfer of 21 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, effective immediately. Additionally, the government has transferred five Deputy Commissioners (DCs).

According to the official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bengaluru, the following officers have been transferred to new positions:

Dr Rajendra K.V. was transferred from Mysuru DC to Director, Department of Tourism.
Dr Ram Prasad Manohar was promoted to Additional Secretary of the Department of Urban Development.
Nitesh Patil: Belagavi DC to Director, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
Dr Arundhati Chandrashekhar transitioned from Khajane Commissioner to Panchayat Raj Commissioner.
Raghunandan Murthy, Haveri DC to Commissioner, Khajane, Bengaluru.
Chandrashekar Nayak L. is the DC of Raichur and the Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax.
Vijayamahantesh B. Danammanavar, Director, MSME at Haveri DC.
Dr Gangadharaswamy, Director of Agricultural Marketing for Davanagere DC.
Nitesh K. is the Joint Director of the Department of Commerce in Raichur DC.
Lakshmikant Reddy, Managing Director of Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), to Mysuru DC.
Mohammad Roshan, Managing Director of Hubballi Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM), relocated to Belagavi DC.
Govinda Reddy – Bidar DC to Gadag DC.
Shilpa Sharma, Managing Director of Karnataka Power Corporation, has moved to Bidar DC.
Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar, CEO of Shivamogga District Panchayat, promoted as Managing Director of Karnataka Power Corporation.
Dilesh Sasi, Director of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS), reports to the CEO of the E-Governance Centre in Bengaluru.
Shreeroopa, Director of KSSRDI, reports to the Commissioner of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
Hemant N., Senior Assistant Commissioner, Ballari, to CEO, Shivamogga District Panchayat.
Jitte Madhav Vittal Rao, DC, Kalaburagi City Corporation, to General Manager, Rehabilitation Centre, Bagalkote.
Nongjai Mohammad Ali Akram Shah, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Hospete Sub-Division, reports to the CEO, Hosapete Vijayanagar District Panchayat.
Jyoti K. is currently awaiting a position as Commissioner for Textile Development and Director of Handlooms & Textiles in Bengaluru.
Sharath B. has been promoted to Managing Director of KEUIDFC.
Dr Selvamani R. has been promoted from Special Officer (Elections) of BBMP to Managing Director of Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
Sidhar C.N. is awaiting an appointment as Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Social Audit.

Among the transferred DCs in Bengaluru, Nongjai Mohd Ali Akram Shah has been transferred as Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayath, Vijayanagara District. He was serving as the DC of Bengaluru Urban District. The transfers aim to streamline administrative functions and enhance governance across various departments in the state.
