New Delhi: Statiq and Bluwheelz have partnered for mid-mile and first-mile EV delivery solutions. The collaboration aims to create critical inter-city routes, develop advanced solar-powered electric vehicles, and establish charging infrastructure at important client locations.
Statiq is an EV charging network that currently operates more than 7,000 chargers across 65 cities. Bluwheelz’s focus is on sustainable and efficient electric vehicle delivery. By integrating Statiq’s extensive EV charging infrastructure with Bluwheelz’s logistical competency, the companies plan to revolutionize the country’s transportation infrastructure. The Indian last-mile delivery sector is going to reach USD 6-7 billion, growing at the rate of 15.62% from 2022 to 2027. The Indian EV market is set to grow significantly, contributing to both economic and environmental benefits.
EV sales in India will be driven by the electrification of last-mile delivery fleets. The government’s supportive policies are expected to ensure growth in the EV sector in the years to come.
