New Delhi: Cohesity has announced an expanded partnership with CrowdStrike to improve threat detection and response. This enhanced collaboration merges Cohesity’s data protection technology with CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence capabilities.
The partnership responds to evolving cyber threats, as detailed in CrowdStrike’s 2024 Global Threat Report. As adversaries increasingly use advanced techniques such as credential harvesting and AI, integrating Cohesity’s Data Cloud with CrowdStrike Falcon Adversary Intelligence aims to bolster defenses against these sophisticated attacks. This integration allows customers to better identify and respond to threats by combining Cohesity’s backup solutions with CrowdStrike’s extensive threat intelligence, which monitors over 250 adversaries and provides indicators of compromise (IOCs).
This approach enhances threat detection accuracy in backup environments and supports more effective incident investigation. Cohesity’s clean room design and integrated tools further assist customers in analyzing malware and understanding attack vectors without disrupting their broader IT systems.
