Gurgaon: CollegeDekho.com, one of India’s largest higher education ecosystems, has announced the launch of SaarthiGPT, an unprecedented AI-powered conversation engine to provide accurate, reliable, and personalized guidance for higher education in India. The AI model has been trained on more than half a billion data points, thereby saving the time of students by acting as a one-stop solution for research on courses, colleges, admission processes, and exam timelines.
Using the latest advancements in AI, SaarthiGPT has been created to cater to the changing college discovery and selection behavior of Indian students. It addresses the need for natural language search queries through conversations and has been currently made available in 6 Indian languages. It has been built with inputs from an interdisciplinary team of data scientists, college counselors, engineers, designers, researchers, and marketers to transform higher education guidance. With SaarthiGPT, students will be able to get the right guidance in very little time through a simple natural language conversation. The CollegeDekho AI will cover areas including entrance exams, admission quota framework, course options and insights, institute rankings, financial support and scholarships, and job scope.
Talking at the launch event of SaarthiGPT, Ruchir Arora, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CollegeDekho remarked that the AI model seeks to address the current lack of trustworthy expert guidance in higher education. Through personalized AI tools, SaarthiGPT will enable Indian students to receive accurate information at their disposal within minutes. The model will soon be expanded to cover 22 Indian languages.
