New Delhi: Philips, a global health technology and innovation firm, has announced that Bharath Sesha has been appointed as the new managing director for the Philips Indian subcontinent, effective September 1, 2024.
Sesha will be responsible for the company’s growth strategy in India, emphasizing operational excellence and customer satisfaction. He will be responsible for the Healthcare division in Gurgaon, the Philips Innovation Campus in Bangalore, the Healthcare Innovation Centre in Pune, and Global division Services in Chennai. After Daniel Mazon, the former vice chairman and managing director, transitioned to a global position at Philips’ headquarters in the Netherlands on April 1, 2024, this appointment was made.
Sesha has previously held the position of managing director at Heubach Colourants India and has a firm foundation in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, in addition to having over two decades of global experience. In 2023, the organization established a new Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Bangalore and announced the establishment of a new R&D campus at the Healthcare Innovation Centre (HIC) in Pune, which is scheduled to open in 2024.
