Bhopal: The government of Madhya Pradesh has orchestrated transfers of 7 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). As per the order, IPS Rakesh Gupta has been assigned the role of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister. He is currently the Commissioner of Police in Indore.
Other transferred officers include:
IPS Umesh Joga has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Ujjain Zone. He is currently serving as the Additional Transport Commissioner.
IPS Santosh Kumar has become the new Commissioner of Police in Indore. He is currently the Inspector General (IG) of the Ujjain Zone.
IPS Aditya Pratap Singh, presently the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jabalpur, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police in the Police Headquarters in Bhopal. IPS Sampat Upadhyay will replace him as the new SP of Jabalpur. He is currently the SP of Dewas.
IPS Puneet Gehlot will take over as the new SP of Dewas. He presently holds the position of SP of Barwani.
IPS Jagdish Dabar, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Indore, will be the SP of Barwani.
IPS Ankit Soni has been temporarily appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for urban areas in Indore. He is currently the Deputy Commissioner of Police for security.
