New Delhi: Tech Mahindra has teamed up with NVIDIA to open a new AI Center of Excellence (CoE) aimed at developing industry-specific AI applications. Located in Pune and Hyderabad, the CoE will work on projects like AI-powered digital twins, large language models (LLMs), and AI systems that can learn and make decisions on their own.
The CoE uses NVIDIA’s AI platforms, such as NeMo and RAPIDS, to help businesses adopt advanced AI solutions. One key project, called Indus 2.0, focuses on creating AI tools that understand Hindi and its dialects, offering support for sectors like retail, banking, and healthcare in India.
This new center will also use NVIDIA’s Omniverse platform to build AI-driven digital models for industries like manufacturing and telecommunications, helping them improve operations and customer service.
John Fanelli from NVIDIA says the partnership will boost AI development in India, supporting the creation of solutions tailored to local industries and needs.
