Pune: Securonix, a cybersecurity firm specializing in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), has announced the appointment of Dipesh Kaura as its Head of Sales for India. Kaura, a cybersecurity professional with over two decades of experience, will focus on driving the company’s growth and enhancing partnerships in the region.
Kaura’s previous roles include leadership positions at Cyble Inc., Kaspersky, and PwC, where he worked on account planning, channel development, and CXO-level engagements. Notably, he was recognized as the Business Leader of the Year in 2022 by the Economic Times Ascent for his contributions to the cybersecurity sector.
In his new role, Kaura will lead efforts to expand Securonix’s footprint in India by addressing the growing demand for robust security solutions amid increasing cyber threats. With his expertise, the company aims to deliver tailored security strategies aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Securonix, which has been featured in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for its SIEM offerings, focuses on providing unified solutions, including Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA). This appointment aligns with the company’s goal of strengthening its presence in a region where cybersecurity is becoming increasingly critical for businesses across sectors.
According to Ajay Biyani, Vice President for APJ, India, Middle East, and Africa at Securonix, Kaura’s understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and his strategic capabilities will be integral in achieving the company’s objectives in India.
Kaura stated his commitment to helping organizations tackle the rising complexity of cyber risks, emphasizing that his priority will be to offer effective, business-driven solutions. He aims to collaborate with local teams to meet the unique security needs of Indian enterprises.
The appointment highlights Securonix’s intent to invest in leadership and expertise as it seeks to grow in one of the fastest-evolving cybersecurity markets globally.
