New Delhi: Air India has introduced an AI-powered feature, eZ Booking, designed to simplify its ticket reservation process using natural language inputs.
Exclusively for Maharaja Club Members
Initially available to members of Air India’s loyalty program, Maharaja Club, the eZ Booking tool allows customers to book tickets through the airline’s website by using simple text or voice commands. The feature replicates human-like interactions, enabling users to input travel preferences conversationally, such as “Book a flight to Delhi tomorrow morning” or “Find a round trip to Mumbai next week.”

Built on Agentic AI technology, the feature aims to reduce the complexity of flight bookings by eliminating the need for multiple screen navigations. eZ Booking also allows users to modify their itineraries easily with voice or text commands and offers a quick, secure payment process for finalizing bookings.
The feature expands on Air India’s earlier AI-driven chatbot, AI.g, which has handled over 7 million customer queries with a 97% resolution rate since its launch in May 2023. The company plans to roll out the feature to its mobile website and app in the coming weeks for broader accessibility.
