New Delhi: Chiratae Ventures has announced the appointment of Saharsh Sharma as Vice President – Investments. In this capacity, Saharsh will be responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy across the Northern India region, focusing on high-quality deal flow from Seed to Series B funding rounds.
His role will encompass diverse responsibilities, including sub-sector analysis, portfolio management, Limited Partner (LP) engagement, divestments, and other strategic initiatives to drive the firm’s growth and success. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, where he earned his B.Tech degree, Sharma brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the Chiratae team.
Before joining Chiratae Ventures, Saharsh served as Assistant Vice President at Orios Venture Partners. During his five-year tenure, which concluded in 2024, he gained extensive experience in venture capital and investment management.
The firm shared the announcement in a LinkedIn post, expressing enthusiasm about Sharma’s appointment. With his extensive background and leadership skills, Chiratae Ventures aims to strengthen its footprint in Northern India and enhance its strategic initiatives.
Saharsh Sharma’s addition is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding Chiratae’s investment portfolio while furthering its mission to support innovative startups across the country.
