New Delhi: IPS Sagar Singh Kalsi, a 2010-batch officer of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), Delhi, on central deputation. His appointment was confirmed through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Kalsi will serve in this capacity for a tenure of five years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. His central deputation comes following a recommendation from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
A seasoned IPS officer, Kalsi has held key positions in law enforcement and administration, demonstrating expertise in security, intelligence, and governance. His experience will be instrumental in his new role at MoPNG, where he is expected to contribute to policy implementation and strategic planning in the energy sector.
