With this acquisition, Secureworks’ common stock has ceased trading on Nasdaq. With this acquisition, Sophos, backed by leading software investment firm Thoma Bravo, has solidified its position as the foremost cybersecurity provider specializing in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.

Sophos X-Ops, the company’s dedicated cybersecurity intelligence unit, is significantly bolstering its capabilities through this acquisition. The addition of Secureworks’ Counter Threat Unit, along with its security operations and advisory teams, strengthens Sophos’ ability to counter emerging cyber threats with deeper global telemetry and expert-driven threat research.
