Guwahati: The Assam government’s Directorate of Women and Child Development has inked an MoU with ITC to strengthen early childhood care, education, development and nutrition across 11 districts of the state.
The partnership between the Assam government and ITC will focus on seven aspirational districts of Hailakandi, Goalpara, Dhubri, Barpeta, Baksa, Udalguri and Darang. In addition the campaign will also focus on Nalbari, Morigaon, Kamrup Metro and Kamrup districts.
Under this initiative, cascading training will be provided to Anganwadi workers on home-based responsive caregiving practices.
