Bihar Govt Transfers Four IAS Officers; IAS Harjot Kaur Made ACS, Forest Department

Patna: As part of the bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Bihar government has transferred four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, while two officers have been assigned additional roles. Consequently, IAS Harjot Kaur (1992 batch), currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department, until further orders.

The list of other transferred officers includes

• IAS Safina A N (1997 batch) has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of the Magadh Division.
• IAS Prem Singh Meena (2000 batch), last serving as Magadh Divisional Commissioner, has now been made Additional Member, Revenue Board.
• IAS Bandana Preyasi (2003 batch) has been posted as the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department.

Besides this, two officers have been assigned additional charges

• IAS Mihir Kumar Singh (1993 batch) will continue to hold the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department.
• IAS Kundan Kumar (2004 batch) will continue to hold additional charge of the IDA (Infrastructure Development Authority).
