Bhubaneswar: The State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Odisha government, chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, approved 17 major investment proposals worth Rs 3,878.86 crore.
These projects, spanning across 11 districts in Odisha and diverse sectors, are expected to generate around 10,584 employment opportunities in the state.
The cleared proposals cover a broad range of industries, including plastics, textiles, electronics, steel, tourism, logistics, renewable energy, and food processing.
Plastics Sector Leads with Six Proposals
The plastics sector attracted the highest number of proposals, with six projects getting the green light.
- Greenwave Circularity Pvt Ltd plans to invest Rs. 650.23 crore in a facility for recycled flakes, pellets, and resin in Khurda, with a massive capacity of 4.04 lakh tonnes.
- Gurumaharaj Mining and Industries Pvt Ltd will set up a unit for manufacturing underground pipelines (2.5 lakh metres per annum) in Khurda with an investment of Rs. 239.07 crore.Â
- Supreme Industries Ltd will invest Rs. 175 crore in Cuttack for a new plastic products unit.
- Lucro Plastecycle Pvt Ltd is set to establish a post-consumer plastic recycled granules and products unit in Jagatsinghpur at Rs. 100 crore.
- Royal Touch Fablon Pvt Ltd will set up a PP woven sacks and yarn liners unit in Balasore, investing Rs. 60.78 crore.
Textiles and Apparel: Big Investment in Fabric Mill
In the textiles and apparel sector, MAS India Clothing Pvt Ltd will establish a large textile processing (fabric mill) unit in Khurda with an investment of Rs. 885 crore, expected to create 1,700 jobs.
Energy and Steel Projects Gain Momentum
Iron Triangle Ltd. will set up a 200 MWh battery energy storage system in Balangir with an investment of Rs. 310.75 crore, a key move in strengthening Odisha’s renewable energy infrastructure. Samaleshwari Ferrometals Pvt Ltd will expand its existing sponge iron facility into a 0.5 MTPA integrated steel plant in Sambalpur, with an investment of Rs. 400 crore.
Tourism and Infrastructure Boost
In the tourism sector, Raysons Enterprises Pvt Ltd will invest Rs. 53 crore to build an eco-resort named ‘Mayfair Hideout’ at Balukhand under Gop block in Puri district. Talcher in Angul will see the development of an explosives and accessories manufacturing unit by Special Blasts Ltd. at a cost of Rs. 54.99 crore.

These approvals highlight the Odisha government’s continued efforts to attract investment and diversify the state’s industrial base while boosting employment and regional development.
