New Delhi: ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) India has announced the elevation of Sreejith G to the role of Senior Vice President – Datacenter Operations. This internal leadership change comes as the company scales its datacenter infrastructure to meet the growing demands of India’s digital economy. Sreejith joined STT GDC India four years ago as Associate Vice President and has since played a significant role in overseeing operations across critical facilities. His new role puts him in charge of leading data center operations across all of STT GDC’s India sites at a time when the sector is seeing increased pressure to ensure uptime and service continuity.
The company has over 20 datacenter facilities in key locations across India, and Sreejith’s responsibilities will now include managing the operational efficiency, availability, and compliance of these mission-critical sites. Before joining STT GDC India, Sreejith held leadership roles at Sify Technologies, Reliance Communications, CMS Computers, and Zenith Infotech. He spent over 15 years at Sify Technologies, where he was involved in managing infrastructure operations, service delivery, and support functions, experience that is seen as key to his current responsibilities. Sreejith brings over two decades of experience in the IT infrastructure and telecom sectors, particularly in managing enterprise-grade datacenter services.
