New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has appointed Prakash Singh as the new Executive Director (Electrical).
Singh joins RVNL with over two decades of experience in the rail infrastructure sector. Before this appointment, he served as Chief Engineer/General on deputation in the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), where he played a key role in large-scale transport projects. He now brings his engineering expertise and project leadership to RVNL’s growing portfolio.
Singh’s appointment comes with a two-year probation period, during which his performance will be formally evaluated. His long-term continuation will depend on the outcome of this assessment.
As RVNL ramps up its presence in both domestic and global rail infrastructure markets, Singh’s leadership is expected to play a crucial role in advancing electrification, modernization, and project execution.Â
Established in 2003, RVNL is responsible for implementing and executing key rail infrastructure projects across India and internationally.
