New Delhi: Max Healthcare has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Global Health Alliance UK to launch advanced medical training and collaborative research programmes.Â
The partnership will initially focus on cardiology and cardiometabolic renal health. The aim is to boost academic collaboration, skill development, and research between the two organisations. Both institutions will offer accredited specialty training programmes and jointly design modules that support knowledge exchange between healthcare professionals in India and the UK. The initiative is expected to improve patient care through clinical excellence.
As part of the agreement, Max Healthcare and Global Health Alliance UK will develop and deliver advanced training in key medical specialties. The collaboration will also open up opportunities for research fellowships, professional exchanges, and capacity-building initiatives designed to meet emerging healthcare challenges.
According to Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director at Max Healthcare, the collaboration is a major step in strengthening clinical expertise and innovation. He said the focus areas of cardiology and cardiometabolic renal health will help bring top-tier training and research opportunities to clinicians and support efforts to deliver high-quality care.
Dr. Rajay Narain, Chairman of Global Health Alliance UK, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to building strong global health networks. He said the collaboration would leverage both organisations’ strengths in clinical practice and academic research to create robust platforms for training and innovation, addressing key healthcare challenges in both countries.
