Centre Approves Key Appointments Across Census Administration; IAS Ranjita Made Director, Census Operations, Bihar

New Delhi: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the central government has approved multiple appointments across the census administration.

Accordingly, IAS Ranjita has been appointed the Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration for Bihar at the Deputy Secretary level for a period of three years.

The list of other appointments includes:

• IAS Sanjeev Shrivastava has been appointed as Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration in Madhya Pradesh at the Director level.

• IAS Ramachandran R has been appointed as Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration for Karnataka at the Director level.

• IAS Vinod P. Kavle has been assigned additional charges as Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration for Mizoram.

These appointments aim to strengthen the administrative leadership during the census activity.
