New Delhi, July 15 (APAC Media): Miniratna Category-I central public sector enterprise MOIL Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Sonali Sanjit Nagvenkar as a Non-Official Director on its Board of Directors.
Made by the Government of India, the high-profile appointment marks a significant addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues to drive domestic mineral exploration and production.
Under the current terms, Ms. Nagvenkar will serve on the Board of Directors for a period of three years from the official notification date, or until further government directives are issued.
Her appointment will formally take effect once she is allotted a Director Identification Number and completes her registration with the Independent Director’s Data Bank, which is maintained by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, MOIL Limited operates as the largest producer of manganese ore in India.
As a critical state-owned enterprise, the company plays a foundational role in the national industrial economy by supplying essential raw materials to the domestic steel, ferroalloys, and heavy manufacturing sectors.
