New Delhi, 17 August (APAC Media): Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil) has appointed Dr. Alka Mundra as an Independent Director on its Board.
The appointment was made in accordance with a letter issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Dr. Mundra brings a multidisciplinary academic and professional background spanning Political Science, Law, Public Policy, Governance, and Social Development. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, an LL.B. from Vidyapeeth, Udaipur, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
With experience in education, social development, public policy, and legal studies, Dr. Mundra has developed expertise in areas relating to governance, public administration, social empowerment, and community development.
Dr. Mundra is actively associated with initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and social development. Her appointment at IOCL is expected to bring perspectives on inclusive development, stakeholder engagement, social issues, and the functioning of public institutions to IndianOil’s Board.
