ISRO has invited applications from interested students and professionals for yet another free online course. The course called “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Earth Observation (EO) and geodata handling and processing” will be conducted from 2 to 13 May 2022. ISRO’s free online course is often conducted by Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a unit under the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India.
IIRS is a premier Training and Educational Institute set-up for developing trained professionals in the field of remote sensing, geoinformatics and GNSS technology for natural resources, environmental and disaster management. The IIRS Outreach Program focusses on strengthening the academia and user segments in space technology and its applications using online learning platforms. The ISRO free online course will be offered through IIRS e-class platform.
How to Register for ISRO Free Online Course
Interested participants will have to first log on to the educate registration website, and then go through the following steps:
- Candidates will have to give their full name, email, and password to register.
- On successful submission of application, applicants will receive a registration number as web page display and email message.
- Applicants will have to activate their accounts by clicking on the link that is sent to their email address.
- Once the account is activated and email is verified, the application will be available for selection process to the institute, course coordinator or director.
- The course coordinator or director will review the application and verify the submitted documents and approve or reject the application.
- All the approved participants will receive an approval email with their login credentials of IIRS e-class platform.
- Those applicants whose status of application displays “Not Approved” will be considered as Learners who can watch the sessions live on YouTube.
