New Delhi: IPS officer Kuldeep Dwivedi, of the 2005 batch, was appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Currently, he is serving as the DIG in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
The Ministry of Personnel has given the green light to shift Dwivedi from the position of DIG, ITBP to that of DIG, CBI, for five years up to January 17, 2026.
Mukesh Singh IPS office of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre of the 1996 batch, will be taking over as the Inspector General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), serving on a deputation basis.
He has been serving as the Additional Director General of Police of the Jammu Zone since August 14, 2019. The Ministry of Home Affairs requested the Jammu and Kashmir administration to relieve Singh immediately from his position to let him take up his new assignments at the Centre.
