New Delhi: Department of Personnel and Training’s (DoPT) proposal to extend the tenure of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) of three PSUs has been approved by the Central Government. The DoPT issued three different orders for the Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), namely Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Following are the three officers who will now be serving with an extended tenure:
- Ashwini Kumar Tiwari (Indian Defense Accounts Service, IDAS), who is currently serving as the CVO of HPCL, will now serve up to October 14, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
- Simmi R Nakra (Indian Post and Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service, IP&TAFS), who is currently serving as CVO of PFC Limited, has been granted tenure extension up to November 11, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
- Amal Garg (Internal Revenue Service, IRS), currently the CVO of AII, will be serving in this post for an extended period up to October 20, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
