Bengaluru: Sakra World Hospital Bengaluru , a reputed high-tech medical centre supported by Toyota Tsusho and Secom, recently inaugurated its latest dialysis unit, a facility covering an expansive 1800 square feet within the hospital premises.
The unit will operate under the leadership of Dr Sushma Rani Raju, a Senior Consultant in Nephrology. It has 10 meticulously designed beds to ensure optimal comfort during dialysis treatment. The expansion aims to bolster healthcare provisions and reach out to a larger demographic, particularly in addressing chronic kidney diseases (CKD).
The incorporation of cutting-edge technology and increased operational capacity is expected to extend the hospital’s outreach to a larger demographic, thereby making a positive impact on the overall health of the community.
Dr Raju said, “End-stage kidney disease has a profound impact on the lives of patients as well as their families. Dialysis is a life-saving treatment modality. It is a pleasure to expand our services by opening a new unit. We are committed to providing quality care to CKD and dialysis population.”
The unveiling ceremony, presided over by key executives including Yuichi Nagano, Managing Director; Naoya Matsumi, Deputy Managing Director; and Lovekesh Phasu, Group COO of Sakra World Hospital, witnessed the presence of distinguished medical professionals, Dr Sushma Rani Raju, Senior Consultant, Nephrology, and Dr Gowrugari Venu Madhav, Senior Consultant, Nephrology, both esteemed members of the Sakra World Hospital team.
