New Delhi: As advised by the Prime Minister, the President has directed the following after accepting resignations of some ministers:
Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar has received additional responsibilities as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shobha Karandlaje, assumed additional responsibilities of the Minister of State in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda has taken on the additional role of Agriculture Minister, filling the vacancy left by Narendra Singh Tomar’s resignation from the Union Cabinet after his election as an MLA in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
Additionally, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Bharti Pravin Pawar, was given the additional charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
