Our cloud storage and data management solutions are at the forefront, providing high-performance and advanced data management capabilities in the cloud. NetApp Keystone is another critical component, offering flexible cloud consumption models that cater to both on-premises and public cloud needs.

Our All-Flash storage solutions, including the new AFF A-Series systems, are fully NVMe-enabled and cloud-connected, providing the performance needed for demanding IT workloads, including GenAI and enterprise databases. These systems are designed to eliminate storage silos and complexity, delivering powerful, intelligent, and secure storage that optimises and accelerates every workload.

We also introduced six new StorageGRID models to maximise the value of large unstructured data while lowering the total cost of ownership. These models offer rapid object access at minimal cost, providing flexibility and performance for critical object workloads. NetApp’s Cyber Vault Reference Architecture enhances data protection capabilities with autonomous real-time ransomware detection and rapid data restoration.

This program ensures our partners’ profitability and alignment with our growth objectives. We prioritise training and enabling our partners, equipping them with the skills and capabilities to effectively represent NetApp in the marketplace and confidently engage with customers.

NetApp’s leadership in hybrid cloud data services positions us well to address key IT imperatives for our customers. We aim to help enterprises navigate digital transformation by leveraging our robust suite of solutions. What is the overall channel structure that NetApp currently follows in India? How are these differentiated between distributors, MSPs, ISVs, and SIs?

NetApp’s channel structure in India is a vital component of our overall strategy. We rely heavily on our partners, constituting 100% of our go-to-market plan. Our focused partner strategy involves selecting partners based on their market coverage, commitment to NetApp, and technical expertise. This approach has led to significant growth, with some partners experiencing over 100% growth.

Our partner program, launched at the beginning of this year, aims to simplify engagement and enhance service capabilities. We integrated various partner types into a single program, making it easier for partners to collaborate with us. The program includes comprehensive training covering pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales services, empowering partners to deliver complete solutions to customers.

We differentiate our partners into distributors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and System Integrators (SIs) based on their roles and capabilities. This structure allows us to leverage each partner’s strengths and ensure they contribute effectively to our growth objectives. Our channel strategy is designed to maximise partner revenue and value delivery to customers, ensuring mutual success.

What are going to be NetApp’s key focus areas in the next 12-18 months?

Over the next 12-18 months, NetApp’s key focus areas will include expanding our footprint in India, enhancing our solutions portfolio, and deepening our engagement with customers and partners. India is one of our top markets in Asia, contributing significantly to our overall revenue. We aim to make India our largest market in Asia, driven by economic stability and a skilled talent pool.

We are committed to doubling our business in India within the next few years. This will involve leveraging our comprehensive suite of solutions, including cloud storage, data management, and AI capabilities, to address the evolving needs of Indian enterprises. Our focus will be on driving digital transformation and helping businesses unlock the full potential of their data.
