Mumbai: Yes Bank has appointed Manish Jain as an Additional Director and Executive Director on its board for a three-year term. Jain brings with him over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, having worked across various segments such as large corporates, middle-market companies, and financial institutions.
Before joining Yes Bank, Jain held senior leadership positions, most notably as Managing Director and Co-Head of Corporate Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) at Standard Chartered Bank. His extensive expertise in transaction banking, supply chain finance, and institutional banking is expected to strengthen Yes Bank’s wholesale banking division, which remains a key focus area for the institution. Jain has also previously worked with companies like Ernst & Young Consulting, GE India, and Maruti Suzuki, showcasing a diverse career spanning multiple industries.
Prashant Kumar, Managing Director and CEO of Yes Bank, highlighted that Jain’s appointment is part of the bank’s broader strategy to accelerate its growth trajectory and enhance its capabilities in wholesale banking. Jain’s role is expected to help the bank deliver increased value to its institutional clients.
