Mumbai: Mumbai is getting ready to host what could be the world’s largest Gen AI hackathon, ‘MumbaiHacks,’ at ATLAS SkillTech University on October 25-26. Organized by the Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM), the event expects to draw over 2,000 developers who will tackle projects focused on social issues, finance, entertainment, and software solutions.
The hackathon is part of a week-long AI event in Mumbai that includes NVIDIA’s AI Summit, one of only three such summits happening globally this year. TEAM has partnered with companies like Meta and Quantiphi to bring together a wide range of participants, including engineers, policy experts, and artists, to brainstorm AI-driven solutions.
Judges for the event include well-known figures like Faye D’souza and Siddharth Roy Kapur, who will evaluate projects aimed at tackling real-world problems. Organizers say the goal is to make AI more accessible and relevant across different fields.
With AI rapidly shaping tech, MumbaiHacks aims to showcase the city’s role in this evolution, providing a space for collaboration and fresh ideas to emerge.
