New Delhi: Jitendra Singh has been named Chief Marketing Officer – Airline and Route Development at GMR Group. In his new role, Singh will lead marketing and route development strategies for GMR’s network of airports, focusing on enhancing connectivity and operational efficiency across domestic and international markets.
Before joining GMR Group, Singh held the position of Vice President and Head of Airline Marketing and Route Development at Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL). During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding Delhi Airport’s international and domestic route network by onboarding new airlines and destinations. His expertise in route development and capacity management contributed to positioning Delhi Airport as a significant hub in the global aviation sector.
Singh’s appointment comes at a time when GMR Group is looking to strengthen its position in the aviation sector, particularly through its upcoming airport projects and by leveraging strategic airline partnerships.
