Chandigarh: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Haryana has announced the transfers and fresh postings of 44 Indian Administrative Service Officers. The reshuffle aims to introduce fresh leadership to various departments and strengthen administration across the state.
As per the official order, senior IAS Anurag Rastogi (1990 batch) has been entrusted with the responsibility of Finance Commissioner Revenue (FCR). Additionally, he will also oversee the Finance and Disaster Management Departments.
The list of other notable transfers includes:
IAS Sumita Mishra (1990 batch) has been appointed as the new Home Secretary.
IAS Sudhir Rajpal, also from the 1990 batch, has been assigned dual roles of Additional Chief Secretary for the Medical Education Research and AYUSH Departments, along with fulfilling the responsibilities of the Health and Aviation Departments.
IAS Ashok Khemka (1991 batch) has been transferred and posted as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Transport Department.
IAS D. Suresh has been made the Resident Commissioner of Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. In addition, he will also serve as the Principal Secretary of both the Industries and Commerce Departments.
IAS Shyamal Mishra has been given multiple roles, including Chief Administrator of the Haryana Trade Fair Authority, CEO of the Faridabad and Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authorities, and Principal Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department.
IAS Sauji Rajni Kanthan has been appointed as the Transport Commissioner.
IAS Phoolchand Meena has taken over as the Commissioner of Ambala Division.
IAS A. Shri Niwas has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of Hisar Division and Managing Director of the South Haryana Electricity Corporation.
IAS Anand Mohan Sharan has been assigned to the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, as well as the Environment, Forest, and Wildlife Department.
IAS Vineet Garg has taken charge as the Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board, along with the Higher Education Department.
IAS Amit Kumar Agarwal has been appointed the Commissioner and Secretary of the Development and Panchayat Department, Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department, and the Foreign Department.
IAS Rajiv Ranjan will hold the post of Principal Secretary of Fisheries and Labor Departments.
IAS Vijay Singh Dahiya has been given the charge of the Printing Department and Animal Husbandry Department.
IAS Amneet P Kumar will take over the Women and Child Development Department and Archives Department.
IAS Ashima Barar has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Caste, and Backward Class Welfare. Additionally, she will also oversee Antyodaya, Excise and Taxation, and serve as the Managing Director of Haryana Electricity Transmission Corporation.
IAS Sanjeev Verma has been given charge as the Director of Sports, AYUSH, and Foreign Cooperation Department.
IAS Mohammad Sain has been posted as the Commissioner and Secretary of the Public Health Engineering Department.
