Kolkata: The West Bengal Police has issued a video warning about the fraudulent Treasure NFT app, which continues to perpetrate its illegal transactions now in a new garb.
As per the police, the Treasure NFT app has now been renamed to Treasure Fun. They are now telling consumers about returning what they invested in Treasure NFT and subsequently re-investing in Treasure Fun.
This is an outright fraud, and the police warn consumers to avoid these at any cost.
Banerhat Police Station IC Biraj Mukherjee clarified in the video that these fraudsters are always planning to run away with public money.
Some investors fall for Ponzi schemes like Treasure NFT, looking for higher profits. Now the fraudsters have re-christened the company to freshly tap gullible customers.
According to the police, consumers who have invested through the earlier website or app are currently able to log in to the new website using the same ID.
Many consumers are now believing that they might be able to get back the money they had invested earlier.
However, it’s the same wine in a new bottle as per their fraudulent schemes. This is where the state police as warned citizens to be wary about the impending frauds.
