Kolkata: Kolkata’s Sister Nivedita University (SNU) has launched a Salesforce Lab on campus.
This aims to deliver CRM and AI skills to students across disciplines. The collaboration will help Salesforce build a digitally empowered workforce aligned with industry needs.
SNU will incorporate Salesforce CRM in a customised curriculum in courses across engineering, management, media and agriculture.
These courses will include training on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce.
The training will be delivered through dedicated coursework, hands-on labs and Trailhead-powered learning pathways. It will benefit around 1000 students in the first year.
Salesforce has partnered with Bong Bong Academy for licensing, curriculum co-development and faculty training.
The faculty will be upskilled to mentor students as part of a dedicated Train-the-Trainer program.
The learners will gain access to Salesforce certifications, hands-on mentorship and career pathways.
Qualified student profiles will be shared with Salesforce partner organisations seeking skilled freshers.
Dr Sanku Bose, Group CEO of Techno India Group and Dean, School of Engineering, SNU, focuses on collaboration as transforming the mindset.
SNU is also evaluating Tableau and other Salesforce solutions to drive its broader campus-wide digital transformation.
