New Delhi: In line with the Union Budget 2025-26 announcement, the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance has prepared a three-year Public Private Partnership (PPP) project pipeline comprising 852 projects across the Centre and states, with a cumulative project cost exceeding Rs 17 lakh crore.
Of the total pipeline, 232 PPP projects worth Rs 13.15 lakh crore will be implemented by eight central departments and infrastructure ministries, while 620 projects valued at Rs 3.84 lakh crore will be taken up by 20 states and Union Territories.
Among central ministries, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways leads with 108 projects involving an outlay of Rs 8.77 lakh crore. This is followed by the Ministry of Power with 46 projects worth Rs 3.4 lakh crore. Other ministries include Railways, Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Civil Aviation, Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Water Resources.
At the state level, Andhra Pradesh tops the list with 270 projects, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The Finance Ministry said the pipeline offers early visibility to investors and developers, enabling better planning and investment decisions.
