Kolkata, May 22 (APAC Media): The West Bengal government has announced the transfers and new postings of 17 IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Ravi Agarwal has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

Agarwal is a 2017 batch officer of the West Bengal cadre. He currently serves as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Purulia, West Bengal. IAS Rajat Nanda (2013 batch), presently Senior Special Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department, with additional charge of Member Secretary, Centre of Excellence in Public Management, and Course Director, Satyendranath Tagore Civil Services Study Centre, and Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, will retain his role as the Senior Special Secretary of the P&AR department and Senior Special Secretary, P. & A.R.
