New Delhi, June 22 (APAC Media): The Central Government has extended the tenure of IAS Sheetal Verma by one year.
She will continue as Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Uttar Pradesh.
According to an official order issued on Saturday, Verma will continue in the post until June 30, 2027.
Sheetal Verma is a 2007-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She has been overseeing census administration and citizen registration activities in the country’s most populous state.
