Raipur, July 16 (APAC Media): Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off ‘Bhawna Didi Ki Science Pathshala’, a Mobile Emerging Technology Lab.Â
Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, along with other ministers, were present during the launch.
Focus on Future-Ready Skills
The initiative has been launched to provide school students with practical exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, drones, aeromodelling, the Internet of Things (IoT), coding, and 3D printing.Â
The mobile science lab will be operated free of cost by Bhawna Samaj Sevi Sansthan, an NGO run by BJP MLA from Pandariya, Bhawna Bohra.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Sai said the initiative comes at a time when the world is rapidly embracing AI and advanced technologies. He said the mobile laboratory, housed inside a specially designed bus, will travel to middle schools, high schools, and higher secondary schools, offering students hands-on training in five emerging technology domains.
Targeting 5,000-6,000 Students
According to the organisers, the project aims to train 5,000 to 6,000 students in its initial phase. The programme will primarily benefit Class 11 and 12 students studying in government schools and Shishu Mandirs across Chhattisgarh.Â
By taking advanced technology education directly to schools, the initiative seeks to bridge the digital learning gap and improve access to skill-based education for students across the state.
