New Delhi: Covid-19 Update, India reported 52,123 new cases of the coronavirus disease in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry dashboard showed on Thursday, which took its tally to 15,83,792.
The number of active cases in the country stand at 5,28,242, while 10,20,582 patients have been cured or discharged. The total death-toll climbed to 34,968 with 775 people died due to the disease in the last 24 hours, the health ministry figure showed.
There are 5,28,242 active cases of coronavirus in the country. The recovery rate among Covid-19 patients was 64.44 per cent.
As per the report, Of the 775 fresh deaths, 92 from Karnataka, 298 are from Maharashtra, 41 from West Bengal, 82 from Tamil Nadu, 65 from Andhra Pradesh, 33 from Uttar Pradesh, 26 from Delhi, 25 from Punjab, 24 from Gujarat, 15 Jammu and Kashmir, 13 from Madhya Pradesh and 12 from Telangana.
