Hyderabad: Telangana State Education Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy on Thursday launched Career Mahotsav, India’s finest career guidance event that would enable more than 3 lakhs students to identify the right career path through a scientific career assessment, and choose the most suitable college or university.
Sabitha Indira Reddy while launching the Career Mahotsav stated, “Career guidance is crucial for students in order to bring their strength and innate talent to fore and lay foundation for their bright career. Parents of students start thinking towards it from the time children enters 10th class. Telangana state education wing has also been working towards it. With a similar vision and commitment, Rashmi, Mahesh and Sudheer Goutham have come together as team with an initiative called ‘Career Mahotsav’ with the aim to provide career guidance on scientific assessments. In the initial phase, they are rolling out these drives in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. I wish them all the best. I would also request them to put special focus on the students in the rural areas and those in the government institutions.”
Career Mahotsav, organised by campuscrop and APAC News Network, in its initial phase would help 3 lakh 10 + 2 / Intermediate pass students in the 2021 academic year particularly from the southern states of India – Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
CampusCrop Co-Founders Rashmi Busireddy, Mahesh and APAC New Network Resident Editor & Head, South India, Sudheer Goutham were part of the Career Mahotsav launch held in Hyderabad.
Aiming to empower students with the most convenient career options, campuscrop has launched the “Career Guidance Portal” using AI tools. The platform was launched in collaboration with ACCPH from the UK as an organizational member and Manipal Prolearn for e-learning certification programs. Ensuring that the student is on the right career path from 6th grade onwards by extending a comprehensive approach, by holding the student in all important stages of life, we aim to enable them to pursue a career path according to their choices and dreams.
campuscrop Career Guidance Portal Career Library is a vast body with comprehensive information on more than 300 career paths and 3000 career options, college admission predictors and entrance exam data with over 25,000 colleges along with eligibility criteria for various colleges, universities and professional bodies in India.
We also help students who wish to enroll in international colleges and universities to explore educational services abroad, college eligibility in more than 13 different countries, scholarships, etc., as well as college application and visa processing.
In the previous days system, teachers had limited knowledge to guide students in choosing the right career path that suits their aspirations and goals. Students should, at present, choose certain career options suggested by their parents or friends and family members.
We aim to train and enhance the skills of teachers in identifying new generation careers and interpreting career reports.
Each student is given a login ID to access the content of the portal available in different languages.
We have entered into an agreement with Manipal Prolearn to assist students in skill development.
Once a student visits our portal, he will have all the tools he needs from career planning, selection of subjects, college admission predictors and process, e-learning content, resume writing and more. He does not need to browse Google again. These tools and services are available to the student at a lower cost than the birthday cake priced.
