The Indian Space Research Organisation’s has announced to launch its first mission of 2022 on February 14, with PSLV-C52 orbiting an earth observation satellite (EOS-04).
As per the headquartered space agency report, this Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C52) is scheduled to launch on Monday, 05:59 hours from the First Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Bengaluru.
ISRO has confirmed that there is 25 hours and 30 minutes of countdown process which will lead to the launch at 04:29 hours on February 13, 2022.
This satellite PSLV-C52 is an updated designed version to orbit the EOS-04 which has a weight of 1710 kg into a sun synchronous polar orbit of 529 km. This satellite will also carry two passengers’ small satellites.
The other satellite (INSPIREsat-1) is a is a precursor to India-Bhutan Joint Satellite (INS-2B)and built by Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) in association with Laboratory of Atmospheric & Space Physics at University of Colorado, Boulder, and a technology demonstrator satellite (INS-2TD) from ISRO.
