New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed twelve General Managers as Executive Directors (ED) in various Public Sector Banks, according to sources. The appointments were approved on Saturday.
In this decision, Sanjay Rudra, who is currently a General Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, will now serve as an Executive Director at Union Bank of India. Vijaykumar N Kamble, also a General Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, will take on the role of Executive Director at UCO Bank.
Bhavendra Kumar, currently Chief General Manager at Canara Bank, has been promoted to the position of Executive Director at the same bank.
Bibhu Prasad Mahapatra, Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank, has been elevated to the role of Executive Director at the same institution. Ravi Mehra, General Manager in the same bank, has been promoted to become Executive Director of Punjab & Sind Bank.
Rajiv Mishra, Chief General Manager at Union Bank of India, will assume the position of Executive Director at Bank of India, and Brajesh Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager of Bank of Baroda, will join Indian Bank as an Executive Director in March.
Rohit Rishi, Chief General Manager at Indian Bank, is set to take over as Executive Director of Bank of Maharashtra next month.
Additionally, the government has approved the appointments of Lal Singh as ED of Bank of Baroda, Shiv Bajrang Singh as ED of Indian Bank, Mahendra Dohare as ED of the Central Bank of India, and Dhanaraj T as ED of Indian Overseas Bank.
