New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced that the NEET PG examination will be held on August 11. The exam was originally scheduled for June 23. On June 22, nonetheless, it was canceled that evening because of some worries expressed by the authorities. The exam will be conducted in two sessions.
In light of recent allegations of irregularities in competitive examinations, NBEMS has postponed the exam that was originally scheduled for June 23 as a “precautionary measure.” An estimated 2 lakh MBBS graduates participate in the NEET PG examination annually to compete for approximately 52,000 postgraduate seats throughout the nation.
The Ministry canceled the exam to ensure that the exam process was robust and that there were no vulnerabilities, according to the board. Dr. Abhijat Sheth, the Chief of the NBE, also stated that the Ministry was concerned about ensuring that miscreants did not exploit the vulnerability of NEET PG applicants during a period in which the cancellation of NTA exams had frightened Indian students.
