New Delhi: Purdue University, Indiana, is expanding its educational partnerships with India through the launch of specialized centers focused on education and semiconductor technology.
The two new Centres for Education and Engagement in Delhi and the new US-India Centre of Excellence in Semiconductors, joint with IIT Hyderabad, will promote academic collaboration, aiming to bridge educational initiatives between the U.S. and India, particularly in rapidly advancing fields. Purdue’s Center for Education Excellence is dedicated to fostering progressive teaching practices and educational innovation, while the Semiconductor Center addresses the growing need for research and skilled professionals in the semiconductor industry.
Purdue’s collaboration with India aligns with its strategic vision of fostering global learning communities, enhancing research capabilities, and preparing a workforce equipped for the demands of modern technology sectors. Through these centers, Purdue intends to strengthen faculty and student exchanges, providing opportunities for joint research and hands-on experience in areas critical to technology development.
