Bhubaneswar: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Odisha has announced transfers and fresh postings of 5 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers.
According to the official order, IAS Arindam Dakua, currently Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed Director of Municipal Administration and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department. Arindam is a 2011-batch IAS officer and previously served as the Collector of Cuttack Collector before being appointed Chief Minister’s Private Secretary. In his current role, he will replace Debasis Singh, an OAS officer, who has been transferred to Special Secretary of the H&UD Department.

IAS NBS Rajput (1999 batch), currently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been given the additional charge as the Principal Secretary of the Public Enterprise Department.

IAS Temjenwapag Ao (2000 batch), presently Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Public Enterprise Department, has been now appointed as the Special Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department.

IAS Bhupendra Singh Poonia (2008 batch), currently the Managing Director, IPICOL; Special Secretary, Industries Department; and Managing Director, Idco, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education Department.

IAS Prem Chaudhary (2010 batch), presently the Director of Agriculture and Food Production and Managing Director of Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited has been now posted as the Director of Textiles and Handlooms while retaining additional charge as Managing Director of the Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited.
