Mumbai: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Maharashtra government has transferred 13 senior IAS officers, appointing them to key positions across various departments. As part of the move, IAS Pravin Darade has been appointed the Principal Secretary in the Cooperation, Marketing, and Textile Department.
The list of other transfers includes:

IAS Pankaj Kumar has been appointed as Secretary and Special Enquiry Officer in the General Administration Department.

IAS Nitin Patil has been made Commissioner of Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship. He was previously the Secretary of the State Human Rights Commission.

IAS P.K. Dange will now serve as the Secretary of the State Human Rights Commission, replacing Nitin Patil.

IAS Shweta Singhal has taken over as Amravati Divisional Commissioner. She was previously Secretary to the Governor.

IAS Prashant Narnaware replaces Shweta Singhal as Secretary to the Governor.

IAS Anil Bhandari has been assigned as Director of Information Technology. He was previously the Joint Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Mumbai.

IAS S. Ramamoorthy has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Governor. He was earlier the Secretary of the Fee Regulatory Authority.

IAS Abhijit Raut has been appointed as Joint Commissioner of State Tax. He was previously the Collector of Nanded.

IAS Rahul Kardile will take over as Collector of Nanded, replacing IAS Abhijit Raut.

IAS Madhavi Sardeshmukh has been posted as Director of Vocational Education and Training. She was earlier CEO of Smart City Kalyan-Dombivli.

IAS Amit Ranjan has taken charge as Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Pandharkawada, and Assistant Collector of Kelapur Sub Division, Yavatmal.
This reshuffle is expected to bring new leadership and direction to key departments, ensuring efficient governance across Maharashtra.
