UP Govt Reshuffles 16 IAS & 11 IPS Officers; IAS Nikhil Tikaram Funde Made DM, Ayodhya

Lucknow: In a series of ongoing bureaucratic reshuffles in the state, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has once again transferred 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including six District Magistrates (DMs). As per the official notification, IAS Nikhil Tikaram Funde, previously the DM of Chandauli, has been appointed as the new DM of Ayodhya, replacing IAS Chandra Vijay Singh (2012 batch).

However, IAS Chandra Vijay Singh has been appointed as the Special Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, in the UP government.

Alongside, 11 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have also been reassigned, including top-level changes in police zones and commissionerates.

The following other changes were announced as part of the IAS reshuffle:

IAS Mahendra Verma (2012 batch), Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission, has been appointed Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA).
IAS Shubhrant Kumar Shukla (2013 batch, promotee), DM Kannauj, will now serve as DM Etawah.
IAS Avanish Kumar Rai (2014 batch), DM Etawah, has been transferred as DM Badaun.
IAS Raj Kumar (2014 batch, promotee), previously on the waiting list, has been appointed as Special Secretary, Energy Department.
IAS Sanjay Chauhan (2014 batch), Municipal Commissioner, Saharanpur, will now serve as DM Amethi.
IAS Nidhi Srivastava (2014 batch, promotee), DM Badaun, has been posted as Special Secretary, Higher Education Department.
IAS Nisha (2015 batch), DM Amethi, has been appointed as Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission.
IAS Chandra Mohan Garg (2016 batch), Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj, has been appointed as DM Chandauli.
IAS Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri (2016 batch, promotee), Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed as DM Kannauj.
IAS S. Giri (2017 batch), Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Saharanpur.
IAS Seelam Sai Teja (2018 batch), Chief Development Officer (CDO), Jaunpur, has been made the new Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj.
IAS Sandeep Bhagia (2018 batch), CDO Muzaffarnagar, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner, State Tax, Gautam Buddha Nagar.
IAS Mrinali Avinash Joshi (2021 batch), Joint Magistrate, Gorakhpur, has been posted as CDO Jaunpur.
IAS Kandarkar Kamalkishor Deshbhushan (2021 batch), Joint Magistrate, Meerut, has been appointed as CDO, Muzaffarnagar.

IPS Nilabja Choudhury (IPS-RR-2000), ADG, ATS, Lucknow, has been transferred as ADG, CID, Lucknow.
IPS Ajay Kumar Mishra (IPS-RR-2003), Commissioner of Police, Ghaziabad, has been appointed IG, Prayagraj Zone.
IPS J. J. Ravindra Gaur (IPS-RR-2005), Commissioner of Police, Agra, will now serve as Commissioner of Police, Ghaziabad.
IPS Deepak Kumar (IPS-RR-2005), IG, Agra Zone, has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Agra.
IPS Prem Kumar Gautam (IPS-RR-2005), IG, Prayagraj Zone, has been posted as IG, ATS, Lucknow.
IPS Shailesh Kumar Pandey (IPS-RR-2011), DIG/SSP Mathura, has been appointed DIG, Agra Zone.
IPS Shlok Kumar (IPS-RR-2014), SSP Bulandshahr, will now serve as SSP, Mathura.
IPS Dinesh Kumar Singh (IPS-SPS-2014), SP Barabanki, has been appointed as SSP, Bulandshahr.
IPS Premchand (IPS-SPS-2014), SP, UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, Lucknow, has been posted as Commander, 6th Battalion PAC, Meerut.
IPS Arpit Vijayvargiya (IPS-RR-2017), SP Baghpat, will now serve as SP, Barabanki.
IPS Suraj Kumar Rai (IPS-RR-2018), Commander, 6th Battalion PAC, Meerut, has been appointed SP, Baghpat.
