UP Govt Transfers 23 IAS Officers; IAS Deepak Meena Made DM, Gorakhpur

Lucknow: As part of a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 23 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Accordingly, IAS Deepak Meena, previously the District Magistrate (DM) of Ghaziabad, has now been appointed DM of Gorakhpur.

The list of other DM-level transfers includes

IAS Ravindra Kumar Mandar, former DM of Prayagraj, takes over as DM of Ghaziabad.
IAS Manish Kumar Verma, who previously served as DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar, has now been posted as the DM of Prayagraj.
IAS Medha Roopam, former DM of Kasganj, has become the new DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
IAS Pranay Singh, Additional Commissioner (Administration) Sugarcane and MD of UP Sugar Corp Ltd., has been made the new DM of Kasganj.
IAS Kapil Singh, formerly ACEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, has been made DM of Kanpur Dehat.
IAS Akshay Tripathi, former DM of Lalitpur, has been made DM of Bahraich.
IAS Amandeep Duli, Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch, has been transferred and posted as DM of Lalitpur.
IAS Pawan Kumar Gangwar, formerly Special Secretary, has taken over as DM of Mirzapur.
IAS Priyanka Niranjan, who was DM of Mirzapur, has become the new DM of Gonda.

Major departmental transfers include

IAS Gaurav Dayal, currently the Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya, has become Secretary, Home Department.
IAS Rajesh Kumar, Secretary of Home & Vigilance, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya.
IAS Ministhi S has been appointed the new Sugarcane Commissioner, replacing IAS Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, who has been posted as the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department.
IAS Dr. Sarika Mohan, former Secretary of Basic Education, has been appointed Secretary of the Finance Department.
IAS Amrit Tripathi, CEO of Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA), has been appointed Secretary, Higher Education Department.
IAS Vimal Kumar Dubey, Divisional Commissioner of Jhansi, gets additional charge as CEO of BIDA.

IAS Neha Sharma, former DM of Gonda, has been posted as Inspector General of Registration.
IAS Monica Rani, former DM of Bahraich, has been appointed Special Secretary, Basic Education, and Additional Director General, School Education.
IAS Alok Singh, DM of Kanpur Dehat, has become Special Secretary, State Property, and Property Officer.
IAS Jai Nath Yadav, Joint Director in the Disabled Empowerment Directorate, has now been appointed Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.
IAS Pranata Aishwarya, Special Secretary of Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply, has been made Chief Development Officer of Sitapur.
