Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Vignan University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kenya’s Kaimosi Friends University.
The partnership aims to promote academic cooperation and strengthen joint research initiatives between the two institutions. It marks an important step toward expanding international collaboration in higher education and research.
Under the MoU, both universities will work together to encourage collaborative research projects, enhance faculty and student engagement, and facilitate the exchange of academic expertise in identified areas of mutual interest. The partnership is designed to boost research output, innovation, and knowledge-sharing while fostering long-term institutional relationships.
The agreement also establishes a framework for joint academic activities, including research publications, seminars, workshops, and capacity-building programmes. These initiatives will enable scholars and researchers from both institutions to collaborate on projects addressing regional as well as global challenges.
University officials from Kaimosi Friends University and Vignan University noted that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing higher education and achieving research excellence through international academic partnerships.
The MoU is expected to create new opportunities for students and researchers, support interdisciplinary studies, and contribute to strengthening the overall academic and research ecosystems at both institutions.
