New Delhi, August 31(APAC Media): Google Search’s AI Mode is moving from the search bar to television storytelling, with ZEE and Google integrating the feature into popular Zee TV fiction shows.
The collaboration will bring AI Mode into shows including Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Tumm Se Tumm Takk, where characters will use the technology while dealing with everyday questions, choices and situations. The integration is part of ZEE’s “Dilfluencer Moments” format, which places brands within storylines rather than using conventional advertisements.
Google AI Mode Enters Zee TV Storylines
The initiative was introduced around Independence Day through a brand film featuring Amandeep Sidhu, who plays Sneha in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan. In the film, Sneha speaks to her makeup artist Aarti, played by Rajsi Bhave, about her plan to start a beauty salon.
The conversation introduces Google Search’s AI Mode as a tool that can help with questions around starting a business and finding relevant information. Google says AI Mode is designed to handle longer and more complex queries through a more conversational search experience.
AI Integration To Continue In Zee TV Shows
The partnership will extend beyond the initial film, with AI Mode expected to appear in upcoming episodes of Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan and Tumm Se Tumm Takk. The technology will be shown as part of the characters’ decision-making rather than as a standalone product demonstration.
For Google, the integration gives AI Mode visibility within a familiar entertainment format. For ZEE, it adds an AI-led technology layer to its fiction programming and its existing Dilfluencer Moments offering.
Sandeep Mehrotra, Chief Operating Officer, Advertisement Revenue, ZEEL, said the partnership reflects advertisers’ growing interest in integrating products into trusted content environments.
Google has been expanding AI Mode in Search across India, including support for Hindi, allowing users to ask longer and more contextual questions instead of relying only on traditional keyword-based searches.
